Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do you accept insurance?
Texas Talkers is an out-of-network private-pay speech therapy clinic. Payment is due at the time of service, and families may request a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We accept HSAs, FSAs, checks, cash, and all major credit and debit cards.
Why private pay?
- Faster access to services in many cases
- No insurance authorization delays
- Care based on need, not plan approval
- More flexibility in frequency and duration of care
- Transparent pricing
- Superbills available on request
What happens during a speech evaluation?
Speech evaluations are individualized and may include standardized and informal assessment, caregiver or client interviews, clinical observations, and functional communication assessment. Families and clients receive a written report with recommendations and next steps.
How often are treatment sessions scheduled?
Most clients are seen one time per week for 45 minute sessions, depending on age, attention, goals, and level of need.
